Working Bee

Chris Matheson cutting down the dead tree
There was a buzz of chainsaws, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers and gutter blowers as the working be started on Saturday 14th March. 9 families with both adults and children were able to attend and help us with the clean up around our wonderful annexe.
The dead tree close to the boys toilets was cut down and many loads of green waste were sent to the tip. The gardens were weeded, the irises along the front fence and several plants were trimmed and shaped, and the low lying branches on some of our trees were cut off. Some of the cupboards and desks were also repaired.

Carlsruhe now looks absolutely magnificent! Many thanks to those who came and helped!
